** RENT PAYMENT POLICY UPDATE **

 

This update applies to all Tenants of Kentuckiana Rentals, Section 8 and Non-Section 8.

 

 

• Effective January 1, 2020, Kentuckiana Rentals, Inc. will no longer accept partial rent payments.
   

• Rent Amounts must be paid in the full amount by the due date.
   

• If rent is late, a late payment fee of $50 is assessed, and within 7 days, the full rent amount is due (this is not new).
   

• You cannot split the payment.
   

• Due to administrative and regulatory policies that govern single family rental property, Kentuckiana Rentals must comply with our financial institution requests.

 

 

(Example No Longer Permitted effective January 1, 2020: Rent payment of $800 is due on 10/1.  A payment of $400 is received on 10/1.  The other $400 is received with a $50 late fee on 10/7).  Instead, you should wait until 10/7 and pay the full $800 with the $50 late fee.
